Welcome to Our School
St. Bernadette’s R. C. Primary School is very much a living and growing body. We strive for a culture of growth, achievement and endeavour where we 'love, learn, live and laugh' with each other. As a Roman Catholic School we are charged with the mission of educating each child as a whole person ensuring that they are cared for in such a way that their physical, moral and intellectual talents may develop in a harmonious manner.
(Code 795 of Canon Law and Catholic Education)
We strive to ensure that each child grows to their full potential in a caring community and all members of staff work together to plan, deliver and assess a broad, balanced and exciting curriculum. As a result we are able to celebrate many achievements:
- high expectations and the ongoing maintenance of very high standards.
- high achievements in music with successes for Choir and Recorder in local music festivals and productions
- a wealth of extra curricular experiences including excellent wraparound child care
- an enriched curriculum with many educational visits and visitors: theatre groups, poets, illustrators, cultural groups, music groups, sports coaches.
- two very successful, recent Inspections. Please click the links below to see our latest reports:
